Modified AE effect

Since the weather here in CT has been horrible I have been observing a lot of oncoming headlights, especially those of other BMWs. Why hasn't anyone produced a vinyl which mimics the effect of the photo below? I basically constructed it out of electrical tape but may go out and purchase a glossy vinyl sheet for a DIY end product. I have seen a CF version but it does not follow the right arc of the body shut lines.

Because vinyl looks cheap, there's a couple plastic eyelids out that don't look cheap when painted though.

What we need are painted eyelids to mimic that, vinyl would not look right in anything but night time.

Most of the eyelids (decal or otherwise) that I have seen tend to deviate from the natural body creases and shut lines. Here is what my makeshift job looks like during the day time. Excuse the iPhone shots.
