Recaro pole position time
So after few months of searching for some better seats for my 1 i finally pull the trigger for these. Originally want performance seats but could not afford a set then pick the CS. Only down side the CS are 4-8 weeks wait and found vividracing can get me the pole in a week. So here i am installing the pole. I was gonna sell these to put money toward for performance seats for christmas but accidently opened the boxes and found the pole is so sexy. Still waiting for the sliders since they sent me wrong one. Here are some teaser pics and more to come and i have final results. Looking to get some real photoshoot soon.
VAC floor mount came in Seats are in, just need to take some real pics For who ever worry about back seat, it should be fine for kids or anyone under 5'5" since i have no problem get in and out. I just tested it see i can in the back seat and actually i have no problem get in and out. Just look at the pic give you an idea beside i have 2 more inches if i want to since there is more room on the slider and floor mount. I am glad i kept these seats, feel so good. Only complained i had was black stiching haha, would be awesome if it's silver to match my performance steering wheel. Also for who ever worry about head room, i sit so low even with sliders added i still lower than the lowest position of my stock seats. Also whoever want to go with this the air bag lights can be disable just need to remove the seat position sensor and plug it in then can be code. I got big help from Kalim which he able to coded few options for me. will need to remove seat position sensor Last edited by Everfly; 08-23-2013 at 12:59 AM.. |

Are you planning on just leaving the seats out or are you putting in that one thing in the DIY section? Just curious cause as I was debating on doing the same also.

what are those aluminium mounts you have bolted onto the floorpan?
They look like they could be used to fit multiple different types of seat? Any info / links to them? |
