$8k for coilovers on a car with next to no mods?? Hmm no offence but that's like putting a marble staircase in a shitty fibro house....
You would have a much better package with a LSD, KW's/BC's/ohlins and some m3 sways camber arms etc and some decent rubber rather then $8k coilovers and shitty soft oem bushing open diff etc..... |

$8,000 on coilovers for a 135 is like bringing a gun to a knife fight, or building an 8 bedroom mansion in Woodridge or putting an n54 in a 130...

For those people who is a bit ignorant, MCA Gold is a custom suspension solution, and not just a set of coil overs. You are paying for the expertise of Murray Coote.
Murray Coote's suspension is considered to be just one step below TX40 Ohlins. However, they are now making cheaper versions, the red and blue as a standard coilovers for specific cars.

I wouldn't say there's many "crappy" options out there for a 135 to be honest.
"Doing it once and doing it right" still doesn't justify the cost of the 8k suspension setup on a car that will probably never get any track time. Purely for aesthetics only. 8k is a lot of money for a drop. |

Actually best mod for a 135i. The suspension is the weakest point and if you are using on a race track, that is what shaves time.
However, I do have to say putting a MCA suspension for a novice is actually quite dangerous. The more feedback you can give Murray, the better your suspension will be for the car.
