The Beast

Ive had the car for 2 days now and have clocked over 500km's of various driving and all I can say is.. WOW. It's a great car to drive. So comfortable, quiet, nimble and the power delivery is great. And the exhaust just has that lovely balanced inline six sound. Most new cars i've driven have been whisper quiet but this one just has that sound to know you mean business.

Still babying it under 4500 rpm but its still great to drive. I can't wait to open it up slowly.

Below are some pics.

It's a Lemans blue with lemon interior.. if you haven't seen a lemans blue before then you'll know the blue is alot brighter but these photo's were taken at 4:30 or so as the sun was making its way down. Shall take some more pics someday in mid daylight.

There's some more pics on my picasa account - http://picasaweb.google.com/shaunorm...LfKk--epsDTJA#

It's amazing how difficult LMB seems to be to photograph accurately.

Great colour combo! I still remember my first day with my car - I drove up to Newcastle via the Old Pacific Highway and the Hunter Valley. I lasted about 2 hours before I opened her up!

I'm appalled to see you got the tyres dirt though...

There's some more in the google link, only one though
I'll take some more this weekend during daylight.

and yeah, I opened it up this morning from a set of lights. Power delivery is smooth as all the way through, compared to my GTR which is lag lag lag 3500rpm.. snap neck. :P

Congrats... Surprising you dont see more of that combo as at the original BMW launch of the Coupe and Vert at the Melbourne motor show in 2008, that was the combo of the vert on display..

Nice colour and car!

After a few months with my CF spoiler, I'm always surprised at how different the rear looks without it....

Congrats on the car. Really starting to like that colour now. Interior looks really smart, but I hope you have'nt got little kids with that colour.
