It says (in German) that the Eisenmann Meisterschaft GT exhaust system is a cat(Kat) back system. So rear section only. It is hard for Germans to run fully catless bc of the testing that goes on here to register the car.

So, that's catback not axleback? I'm thinking to buy just the axleback Meisterschaft GT with stock N55 mids. What do you think? I feel N55 mids already sounds great

I think that car is a N54. So it probably keeps the secondary cats while deleting the resonator section.

Over here in Germany you have to get your car inspected once every two years. AND they look at everything! Plus the Polizei have special cars to check for mods. A buddy of mine git pulled over once bc they were following him with a special emission car and it has special infrared lasers that detected too much black smoke, ie he had a tune. Which he did. He then got quite a big "fix it ticket". lol

Question is which cats. Main or secondary!? (IF it is a N54). In all likely hood its probably a rear section with the midpipe resonator cut off or modified. Why not leave him a message on YouTube?

In the video clip he says "ab" meaning "from" (presumably) cat back. Not sure if that is only rear section or mid pipe. But in looking at Eisenmann exhaust system, they all look like axle back systems.

I just put the N55 mids on my N54 and LOVE the sound. So much nicer when you get on it... while very quiet while cruising.

I was gonna post these video clips in a new thread... but here you go...

My exhaust is completely stock. I have an N54 with a tune from MS Tuning.de (stage-II, 380 PS and 520Nm) I had not posted them bc I wanted to make some autobahn videos first, but those can wait!

This will give you a pretty good idea of how much better a N54 sounds with the N55 mids.

I also know there is a knock off Eisenmann company from China. That could be it too. But I highly doubt a German would be able to get Chinese knock off parts into Germany. The German customs are pretty strick.
