I put S-Drives on and the tires are superb! The Dunlop's rule, but the treadlife makes them a waste.

I have a question... once my RFTs are done, would there be a serious adverse effect on going with PS2s in the rear and a cheaper summer tires up front? I just want some acceptable traction from a dig!

Where did you order them from? I can't find them on tirerack for the 135. They only show the standard, g-force,and s-drive for our cars.

What do you think the life (miles) of the T1Rs is under everyday use?

I drove the snot out of my MINI Cooper with T1Rs on it. I put about 10k miles on the car with them, and they had more than 50% tread left after that milage. That was with about 4 track days, and a commute that took me across the famed Mulholland Drive, here in LA. Which if you don't know is a very twisty mountain road. Suffice to say, it was 10k miles of HARD CORE driving. And the Toyos held up very well.

I am hoping to get at least 15k out of the T1Rs I just had put on my 135.

Direzza are track STARS!!! I loved them on my G35.

Just got new Dunlop Sport Maxx's for my G37. Went 275/40 in the rear and 245/35 in the front. Not Cheap but well worth it.

Another great tire is Goodyear Eagle F1.

Pros:
Almost zero road noise, great tread design, parts water like Moses

Cons: Pricey, Soft tread, Fronts will start to feather around 10-15k

Trying out some RE11s now on my new GTS-Rs (thanks Gil!). Loved the RE01s on my Acura TL A-Spec..... Chose them over the Direzzas.

Not really a "street" tire, but it's a great R-comp tire for lighter weight cars.

The best street tire we've used for the 135i are the Dunlop Star Specs.
