Michelin PSS vs Hankook Ventus RS-3's - Strictly Performance

I know a lot of people have made posts about each of these tires comparing price, value, wear, wet performance, etc. I'm going to replace the factory run-flats with one of these two and am only concerned with how they will perform in dry, warmer weather, either on the street, drag strip or race track. I don't drive the car much, so I don't really care about wet weather, wear or price because they all seem fairly comparable

I literally just want to know which tire will result in better grip. Probably going to go the 225/255 size route. Anyone have any hands on advice here?

Thanks!

Normally I'd say RS-3 hands down for dry performance. PSS wins in wet, treadwear, noise (all things you don't care about lol). But... if you don't get the tires up to optimal temps (not as bad as R-comps but still require some heat), you may be better off with PSS if your car sees mostly public roads.

PSS are good for pretty much everything except the track. If that is a priority, I wouldn't get them.

This isn't even a competition, the RS3s blow the PSS right out of the water when we are talking about dry performance.

They may be a bit nosier (mine weren't bad at all), but the amount they can take relative to the grip they provide puts them in a division way above PSS

Pss is a better street tire like hard canyon driving where you are not getting the tire super hot. But at the track the rs3 are the way to go

x1000. Also, because the 'Kooks are so soft, they actually ride quite pleasantly for a tire of it's nature.

I have Pilot Super Sports on my 535i, and when I recently bought my 335i it came with the RS3's. Honestly, I prefer the PSS more, to me they are noticeably better in the wet and they hold the car down way more. I never get any tire spin in my 535i, maybe because its heavier than my 335, and I always get a bit in the 335 with the RS3's. Once I need new tires im going PSS for my 335 no doubt.

PSS are fine for a Beginner/novice on the track and they are great on the street. They are not an out and out track tire though.
