Will there be a Black Friday Sale for these this year?

Any Group Buy on this?

We don't have any planned Black Friday Sales as of now. Our next planned Group Buy will be at the beginning of 2014, though we have not yet decided which particular fitments will be included with that Group Buy.

Can someone from apexraceparts answer this question please. I have apex arc8 with aggressive front setup. The full setup are 8.5x18 et38 and 9.5x18 et62 and my first plan was to go with 225/40/18 and 265/35/18 Michelin PSS because a forum member had confirmed to me that it fits.

But I'm thinking to get Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 with the exact same setup. Will it fit? My car is currently on stock height and the lowest drop will be 0.5" from sport suspension. Please let me know about this because I'm about to order the tires soon. Also, do I need more negative camber up front?

With the 18x8.5" ET38 using 225/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11, the wheels and tires should fit without the need for additional negative camber with the OEM Sport Suspension. However, we do recommend at the very least pulling the alignment pins of the top hats so that you can gain the most negative camber possible to ensure proper clearance of the fenders and an improved turn in, especially if you plan to lower the car in the future.

Thanks for your reply David. How about the rear setup? Will it fit fine just like Michelin PSS? Or spacer might be needed? I will probably get dinan plates just in case in more than pulling the pin. So far I don't have any plan to lower my car.

Yes, the rear will fit fine without the need of a spacer. The RE-11's actually run a little wider than the PSS.

What is your recommended front camber setup for street use? I rub for the first time on an overpass that has a bump at the end of it. It rubs on the edge of the tire, so more negative camber will help eliminate the rub. Planning on dinan plates that adds -.7 degree to stock -.5 degree.

Let me know the maximum camber for street use that maximize contact and even out the wear. Thanks David!

We would recommend up to about -1.5 degrees for street use, but we've seen people run much more camber on the street. How hard you drive on the street will determine whether more or less camber is needed to evenly wear your tires. Additional camber will help eliminate the rubbing issue you're having on the edge of your tire.

We are not 100% sure on the alignment spec for that car, but we would recommend at least -2.5 degrees for a similar setup because it is an 18x9" ET42 front with 255/35/18 tires: not our normal recommended front setup!

Mine is actually 8.5x18 et38 with 225/40 RE11 (front setup) and rubs on highway bumps. I'm thinking to do -1.5 degree on that setup, how's that?

Yes, you are running the et38 instead of the et45. The et45 can fit most 235/40/18 street tires without any issue. Your et38 can fit a 225 without rubbing with a little camber, but your RE-11's run a bit wider than your average street tire. -1.5 degrees should get you the clearance that you need no problem, which can be achieved by pulling the alignment pins. Aside from better clearance, negative camber will improve your driving characteristics as well.

Thanks to confirm my solution! I'm getting Dinan plate next week and some said the installation of Dinan plate requires pulling the pin so I will get more negative camber and of course better turn in.

Hopefully it works really well. I will post pictures of my car with hyper black apex arc-8 once I find the right camber setup
