Mirror housing rattle

Soon after picking up my '10 135i in January I noticed a rattle, kind of like a buzzing. Today I attempted the fix for the noisy dashboard which I found here (I can't find the thread right now to link) .

Turns out the dashboard was not the source. Instead, the cheap plastic housing around the sensors in front of the rear view mirror is the source. When driving over a road rough enough to cause the buzz, I can hold the housing and the buzz stops. Release the housing and it returns.

My plan is to take the car back to CarMax to have them fix it. OTOH, does anyone know a quick fix to this problem? I would rather spend 30 minutes at home fixing a problem than bother with dropping the car off and picking it up.

Bring it to your local dealer. You should still have warranty.
