Reason to avoid an '08 128i?

I've got 47,000 miles on my 2008 128i, great car. Love it every time I drive it and plan on keeping it forever. The manual is such a pleasure to shift and don't worry about those turbo'd cars, 0-60 in under 6 seconds is plenty fast. Only issues I had were recalls and I had the amp in my stereo go bad on me... other then that flawless.

I think the problem is most likely to occur if you live in a very cold climate and drive the car short distances or always at low rpms. That might account for the low representation on the forum combined with fewer owners of early model 128i's vs 135i's etc.
