Inconsistent codes and CEL with JB4 and N55

Long story short, 2012 N55 DCT with about 63k miles. Recently had the starter replaced and had my JB4 stage 2 reinstalled. Surprise surprise, whole bunch of issues popping up now.

Biggest issue is a CEL light that comes on at about 60% throttle around 2500-2800 RPM. However, it's very inconsistent. Some days it comes on, some days it doesn't.

As far as codes, I regularly get the 281A code according to my JB4 readout. Not too much information on this from what I've gathered aside from the JB4 possibly being installed incorrectly. I had this installed by a local shop about a month ago because I seriously do not trust myself with anything electronic.

Any ideas on what to check or attempt? Spark plugs were also replaced about 8k miles ago, and I've never had these issues.

Oh and mini confession, I've never had the chance to hook up my laptop to the JB4 yet and attempt logs.

What are your Jb4 settings? Standard ones? Post a log in n54tuning.com

No idea what the codes are, but does the CEL still come up with the JB4 removed?
