I agree with HeelToe, each one has two section with a "breakaway" , mine kept breaking away and now is still somewhere in the garage. The 2 halves take very little pressure, snap then you gotta go find where it flung to, snap it back together and repeat.

Grab it low w/ the left hand and pass it to the right hand for buckling. No problem.

You could always just wear your seat belt so you don't become disfigured if you ever have a crash.

LOL I never even noticed this as an issue and no one who has driven my car has ever said anything about the seatbelt. They always complain about trying to get into the back seat though hahaha thing is I never go back there so it doesn't bother me

I always just reach across my body with my right hand. Left hand reach down behind me doesn't feel right, reach across my body feels like I'm stretching.

So after reading this thread I had to get it. Installed and the least bit of tension on the
hinged joint caused the holder to pop out. Drilled a hole in the center of both sides and
secured them with a zip tie. So far so good.

I'm not stupid, I always wear my seat belt. Well unless I'm drinking than I forget, witch is all the time so I guess I really don't wear it that much.

This was the first thing I noticed when test driving --- but I'm now used to reaching way back for the belt.

It's kinda annoying, but I've got used to it.
+ 1...

I use the memory settings as well. Position 2 is my entrance/exit setting, sitting further back. This reduces wear on the bolster and makes it easier to grab the belt. Selecting position 1 slides the seat forward into driving position. Works for me... if the belt holders don't work out it may be worth a try.

Cheers

I always reach down, grab the seatbelt, and buckle up before I close the door... A whole lot easier than trying to reach into that tight space with the door closed.

10¢ zip tie and 10 minutes will fix it.
