Headers were coated by Performance Coatings in Auburn, WA in "Glacier Black".

Here are a few shots from this weekend, with current progress, sections 2 & muffler section of SS exhaust are installed with section 1 left off to perform UUC short shift/DSSR install & header install.

Happy New Year all!

Matticus91 These are SuperSprint pipes, they really do look nice! Hopefully life permits me to finish my work soon & share more about the final installs.

For now, I have fitted the UUC Shifter & DSSR to the car & it was much easier than I had expected given their instructions. In the end, I am extremely happy with the fit & throw of the shifter, but will be doing a few tests for a possible contact point between DSSR and flex guibo. I will report back with any findings & any solution if needed.

Current work list to complete:
VC Gasket & a few others
Headers
SS Section 1
Test & Modify DSSR

Nicely done, I've heard great things about that shifter. It's something I'm still not sure if I want in my car. I had a high end SST in one of my other cars and it was wonderful for racing but I missed "rowing" the gears a bit when just cruising.

After a ton of frustration and problems, I'm back with a little teaser and some updates.

UUCs DSSR does not have correct geometry to clear guibo. In testing this there is a contact point in neutral, 3rd, & 4th. This was sufficient enough for me to take it off and put back on my OEM til I can source a DTM replacement. I see no modifications possible for the UUC piece without compromising integrity.

Headers and full exhaust are in, a rattle against the rear suspension brace left me bringing it to an exhaust shop today to get that sorted.

VC Gasket & ESS replaced. Hopefully have some more updates next week.

Next items to be handled:
Airbag recall
Tune

+1 on the AKG DTM selector rod. Beautifully made and perfect fitment.

Exhaust shop did an excellent job, a few welds later and we are rattle free and screamin' down the roads.

Airbag recall done.
BPC sent tune file back today, so uploading after work.

To top things off, I'll be going to my first Meet/cruise this weekend.

Annual Spring Cruise Collaboration with Canada 3/31: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1475053

More pics & some audio to come after along with some follow up reflection on exhaust, tune, etc.

Usually heat insulation, or just general protection against damage/rust.

N51 Dyno

Engine & Mods: N51 (w/3IM) + Supersprint headers & full exhaust, AFE Intake, & BPC Stage 2 Tune
Run 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3l-uBLEc7rA
Dyno Results (rounded down): Max: 239 whp / 217 ft-lbs /// Avg: 238 whp / 216 ft-lbs

Since tune and resetting adaptations, I’ve put about 600 miles on the car. My one issue is a sporadic rough idle, but this aside, the car has been a blast and doesn't stop putting smiles on my face. With the added hp/tq, I find the car lacking even more from a suspension perspective, so I'm refocusing my budget for the immediate future. Early plans are front & rear M3 control arms & upgraded RSFBs.
