Phone apps for racing,

I can't find an app that meets what I want.
I'm looking for something that can do normal track lap recording (like TrackAddict) but with the addition of the kinetic sensor/s in the phone ... set warnings for G limits is what I really want.

Anyone know of an app that does that? (Android)

Best recommendation to do with this is run an external 10hz + bluetooth GPS unit and pair it with your phone. Will make data much more granular and able to dissect and study

I've started using this app on iOS and it's been pretty good so far. As KGolf mentioned though, you definitely want an external GPS unit since the GPS unit in the phone typically output only 1Hz (i.e. 1 position per second) which is pretty slow. Harry's Laptimer can also overlay the data on top of a video recording which is kind of nifty:

However, I should mention that for something like autocross though, I'm debating on getting an Android tablet and trying out Solostorm app. From what I hear, it's great for doing quick analysis between your runs where you can compare the previous runs to see how you did in different sections of the autocross course relative to each other. Unfortunately (for me), it's only for Android and there's no iOS version.

I have a Nexus 7 and run Solostorm Dedicated for that. Use a ProClip mounting solution and you have a larger screen to digest data (Trust me you don't want to run that off your phone).

Yeah, that's the configuration I see the local people run. It seems like a lot of the more serious autocrossers at the events seem to use this. It's just a pricy investment if you add up the cost of the tablet, the app itself, and the mount that's making me hesitate on it for now.

I've been mostly just watching the previous run's gopro footage in between to at the moment. It's served me okay for now but with the limited seat time at autocross, I'm trying to find ways to make more efficient use of the seat time that I do have for improving. And I do love data
