Powerflex vs M3 bushings

I'm going to replace the subframe bushings. Wondering what people think between these two choices.

I've used Powerflex in other cars and have always been very pleased.

As an aside. What is every one doing about front bushings.

Lets add Prothane/Whiteline to the list too.

Want to know why people dont like polyurethane, why is it less durable

Front bushings:
For OEM sways, people can go Powerflex
Otherwise peopel use m3 sways & m3 bushes

For Control arms, myele HD busigins. I read that m3 bushings can also fit. ( Both solutions do not change the ball joint at the wheels hub carrier. This is done with new arms or can cost alot from what i read on other forums)

I went with BMW M3/1M rear axle bushings. Its the only way to go if you ask me. What I was really amazed by is how the rear suspension bushings now make the front suspension WORK! The car feels like a totally different animal - in a good way.

As for front bushings... most just go with M3 control arms. There is that "TRW thread" on cheaper (~$400 instead of $650)M3 control arms too.

Are they also quoting labor & install? Might want to check that. I paid about 220 or so from GetBMWParts.com.

All great upgrades, but the upper (curved) control arms- the ride becomes quite harsh when crossing tram railways etc.

Ill give you some estimates I received in South Florida. AA quoted nearly $850. This other BMW accident repair shop quoted $50 more than that. Average quote for just subframe bushing labor was around $750-800 I'd like to say. Fortunately I got mine done for $400 but that's because my dad knew the owners well.

I added full front M3 pieces and the ball joint / bushings (I assume) are definitely harsh over sharp bumps such as RR tracks or metal-jacketed expansion strips. Love the steering - but beware. My car is a DD with zero track time so I don't think I made the best choice. I will avoid the M3 front arms on my 2013 (on order). The M3 rear subframe bushings are a definite plus with little NVH penalty.
