Rear Diffuser broken tabs?
Unfortunately the only road to my work has been under construction for the past 6 months or so... its a fairly bumpy ride. due to this a few of the tabs on my diffuser have been sheared off. The diffuser is no longer on 'solid' due to this. Its definitely not about to fall off or anything as the screws are still in tight, but it has a little 'wobble' to it for lack of a better word.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to get it back into place? I was thinking silicone but im not entirely sure how i feel about that honestly. Am i SOL and should just buy a new one when construction is done? |

You could try making some new tabs out of plastic and using JBweld or similar to attach them to the diffuser. They will probably end up vibrating loose though.

I have this exact problem and have been trying to make other tabs but haven't figured a way yet. I tried superglue but they just busted off. I am thinking double side tape where it connect and just press it until it holds. Kind of out of ideas

Well for what its worth... my temporary fix was zip ties into the mesh. cant notice them at all and it keeps it pretty solid in place. if you really wanna get crazy you could probably use silicone or something but i didnt want to do that because god forbid i ever have to take the thing off.
