Juice Box for the 135i
Hey All,
I'm looking at getting the JB2/3 which would you guys recommend and why? Which is easier to fit and is is as easy as they say it is on the website and is there anything I should know before hand? |

JB2 probably isn't a viable option these days. If you want ease of install, go JB+, if you want a more complicated install but with a significant power increase and best bang for your buck, then JB3 hands down if you're looking at the JuiceBox range. Of course, there are plenty of competitors in both spaces (JB+ vs SSTT), (JB3 vs Procede, Standback, etc)

I think JB2 is obsolete. Now they are selling Jb+ and Jb3; and JB3 is the way to go.

Jb3 is light years ahead of Jb2.
Go with the Jb3 PnP and you will be satisfied.

arent you guys worried to have a PNP JB3 if you have to take your car in for maintenance at BMW dealers? Or are most JB3 guys not worried about warrantys?
I hear warrantys arent affected if you have a JB3 but only if it directly causes a part failure will it be a waranty issue.. Is that right? Anyone ever take there car in for maintenance and keep their JB3, etc. installed still? |

I am curious as well, I am going to be purchasing a 135i soon and 300HP is great but I'm used to a 400WHP+ 91 300zx and I want to know if I can run a JB and still be covered under warrenty for pads, oil and such. I can't wait to see how far they can take the N54 with stock internals.

I took my car in for a scheduled maintenace with all mods on the car including the JB3. However, I did set it back to stock map and use BT scanner to look for tuner codes and found none before I took it in.

Great news! The sales guy made it seem like the service guy would know the color of my boxers for every day I drove it. Glad to see I can have some extra fun without them knowing.

Actually my car weighs less than a 135i. It began life as a NA car (which already makes it much lighter than TT) and we swapped the TT tranny and engine in along with gt28r's and exhaust manifolds, Z1 side mount intercoolers, EBC, TT fuel pump, 555cc injectors, 300 degree fuel rail , 6-puck clutch, rps flywheel, 1-peice driveshaft, 3" catless exhaust and the wastgates have thier own pipes, twin intake, Underdrive pulley, AMs radiator, Holly oil cooler, a ecu chip to handle the mods, AC and all emissions stuff gone, speakers and door insulation stripped, hatch area stripped and a few other things. I dont have power seats either. The car is a beast but is also the reason I need a 135i, the 300zx is too much to deal with every day, especially down here in Corpus Christi, plus it keeps breaking parts. I plan on it eventually caging it and once I get all my suspension bits and Accu-sump it really will be a track monster. Twin-Turbo V6's suck to work on though, I've always wanted a Turbo Straight6 and it may finally happen!
