? the photoshoot is made in the real world mate then you tweak the images with photoshop because cameras canīt replicate reality good enough on itīs own.
Just certain things that looks off to me. Especially the tires. Check the tread on the back wheels. Notice itīs assymetrical compared to the other side. I thought tires that are supposed to roll the same way will have the tread exactly the same but mirrored. Notice the left rear tire, notice part of the tire is lighter then the rest of the tire. Itīs a clear line right through the tire and through all colours of the tire. Imagine we cut the tread up in 5 parts, 1st part to the left you have more or less horizontal cuts in the tread. Same as on the other side. But check tread-pattern number 2 and compare it to the other side. You can see on the left side that the tread marks that go straight across the tire itself first goes horizontal, then it goes up, then slowly goes down towards the inside of the tire. Compare with the other side, Tread is horizontal at first but instead of going up it goes down. I thought that tires that are meant to roll in the same direction should have identical tread patterns. Maybe someone can de-bunk this for me? |

The pinstriping was poorly executed. They should have accounted for the indents in the side and with the way they did the roof, it looks like there are four stripes with the white roof ledge.
Steering wheel is nice along with the seats but the roundels are just plain gaudy. Post dyno with IATs. Anyone can retune it and make those numbers but is it daily driveable and reproduceable after multiple pulls? |

I don't know how you caught that, but I think you're right. One of the rear tires (the passenger side) is mounted the wrong way.

There is space for the Helix for instance (with no or minor trimming) and it's thicker and a little bit larger than the oem one and it's very hard to notice it on pictures.

i like the wheels a lot! 17.4 lbs (7.9kg) is really light for a 19 wheel. ATS mentions a different method to flow form. They say it's a "forging technology combined with ATS engineering know-how". Ah...I don't know what that means exactly, but is sure is damn light! I was looking at the Advan RS wheels, but I may check these out as well.

Obviously that might be due to several natural causes but it seems to me part of the tire comes from another car with totally different lighting. Getting lighting done when c/p stuff is crucial to make PS cars look realistic. Quote:
Check the lighting on the front tire. Itīs like the sun is up and shining pretty hard but then you look at the rest of the pic and you canīt find this type of sun-light. My brother is fairly good with cameras so i know certain addons etc can make sunshine and reflections go away but to me it just looks off. Other stuff that i reacted to was just the jaggies on certain stuff. This could be due to re-sizing the image though. Check the profile thickness of the left and right front tire. I know the rim gets smaller in diameter as it goes inwards towards the suspension but if you look at the cars right tire you canīt see that type of extreme profile tires on that side under the car. Also notice the cars right front tire. What is that white bit in the rim? Itīs impossible for it to be the sideskirt. Looks weird to me but again, no offense to the guy who took these images, some things just looks weird. Also notice the shadow under the car in this image. On the cars left side you can see the sun creep in under the car almost halfway under. Yet on the other side it looks like the images was taken at 12 a clock when the sun was at itīs highest point there. This could be due to a flash that he put on the left side of the car. It could also explain the weird lighting on the rims. Front tire reflects some sunlight as you can see yet the rear tire does not.' This could also be due to the angle of the front tire, iīm just saying I checked the bmwusa.com site and looked for options on the 1M. This car has parking sensors at the rear. I could however not find this option on the site nor does it look like itīs standard on the car. I know USA has alot of packages etc so it might be included there, maybe someone with a 1M could clear that up. I donīt know to me there was just some alarms that went off for some reason. Interior looks 100% legit as does the decals but the first thought that came to my mind was that this was a 135i M kitted. Itīs probably a 1M that this guy has worked hard for and it was just the post processing that played with my brain :P |
