Hmmm, that's frustrating. I am generally a "play by the rules" type guy, at least at this stage of my life. On the other hand, a tuned header is a beautiful thing and really seems to be what the N52 needs to be fully realized, along with the DISA conversion.
I am looking forward to fleshing out the upper end of the N52 power delivery and expect that the SuperSprint header is an important part of that equation.

You could sign another off road waiver and tell the shop it is strictly for autocrossing.
It will pass emissions as long as a sniffer is not involved in the tailpipe. |

Even then, I have little doubt that with warmed up secondaries I could pass a PA sniffer test. I did it with my E36 M3 when it was briefly running straight pipes.
