Just hit 16.5 psi?!

By no means am i bragging about this, id like to get to the bottom of why its hitting such high numbers. Ive got Dual cone intakes, cfe midpipes, dinan exhaust and jb3 which was running map 5 at the time it shot to 16.5psi. Im running 92 octane and threw in a bottle of octane boost at the time of fueling. What do you guys figure? From my research it should be around 13-14?

Your best bet is to send Terry at Burger an email and he would answer it ASAP since his emails go directly to his phone and he doesn't post on these forums.

It spiked at 16.5, but held a high 15, low 16 through 3rd.

Im going to do a couple runs on lower maps, this was this morning when it was only about +6 degrees C, if the numbers remain high i will contact burger tuning about this.

Won't blow at 16.5. I was at Terry's on Thursday having my JB3 put on for the N55 and he was telling me that for the N54, he's had his personal car pushed to the limits and its been at 20+psi before and nothing happened, and the N55 car at 17+. (I am not saying to run your car that high but just saying what Terry's done to his car to test things to the limit.)

Send the logs to terry, low 16's is high for your mods and 92 oct with a booster. I hit 16 psi safely with 100 unleaded oct and bolt on's except dp's.

FYI, octane booster doesn't do anything. You need race gas if you want more octane

remember if your logging with JB4 you need to look at "sustained pre boost" not the odd spike here and there.
