GT-C3 or V713 fitment 135i
Has anyone fitted or have any advice on fitting GT-C3 (same as VMR v713) wheels in the following sizes to a 135i
19x8.5 ET+35 19x9.5 ET+45 With 225/35/19 and 245/30/19 tires? The wheels can be found here: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/vi...915&cmd=VIDESC Any advice? I am finding it extremely difficult to be the V713 in 1er offsets- nobody not even VMR themselves seem to have stock of the 19x9.5 et45 for me. Regards |

I have the 713's in Gunmetal....My advice to you is to get the 45 offset for the front...and if possible put on a tire in the rear that fits..Some 245's on a 9.5" rim look like ass they are toooo stretched. I have 255/30/19 on the 9.5" rear in Yokohama ADO8's and they work but need a fender role and slight negative camber in the rear to work but WORTH all the hard work with it's tenacious grip in the summer and they do not look stretched as the the ADO8 run wide...but they are right on the edge of fitting properly...anything smaller well...looks are subjectable but the stretched look on a BMW looks off IMO and would not buy these rims with that look...I would only buy these rims in Gunmetal or Black....or paint or powdercoat them.

Thanks for the advice Izaglo. Will try to squeeze in a 255 with a fender roll. I have also been leaning more towards a gunmetal finish lately. I know it's overused but I have also been thinking of the vmr v710 as a possible alternative.

Thanks for creating this thread! Funny that v713's are one of my favorite wheels on the 1-series but rarely anyone gets them. We generally recommend going with a 19x8.5 +45, 19x9.5 +45. A bit on the aggressive side with the rear +45 so I recommend running a 245/30 if you want a no rub fitment. If you're willing to do a slight fender roll, a 255 will work fine. Square setups are definitely possible too with a 19x8.5 +45 all around.
Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

I like it a lot too! My 2nd choice behind the v701's on the 1-series. We only make Hyper Silver in the 5x120 bolt pattern but we have powder coating options available.
