Request: Change the springs

Wondering if someone could write up how to change the springs (IE replace stock springs for H&R sport etc.) Thanks!

This is my DIY from over at e90post, when I did them on my 330i.

It's virtually identical to the method I used on the 135i

If I could change a few things on it, I'd add in a couple more beers, and have a friend there.

Read the top of the DIY:

This is challenging, but not that bad that I think people couldn't do this, with a decent DIY. Plan on taking 3-5 hours to do this. I did it in 3.5 hrs, but I was also taking pics and figuring out what to do, since no DIY exists for this yet (that I was ever able to find).
It took the same on the e82. I'm 3 yrs older.

Yes, Jack up from the rear jack point on one side, put a jack stand on the front jacking point. then remove the jack. You'll now have access to the front/center jacking point. Once you jack that up, place a jack stand on the opposite side front jack point.

Hi Fran, I didn't have to remove the rear shocks at all for a spring replacement. Sorry.
