I went on Wednesday night.....to put it bluntly, it kind of sucked. There was no Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, Infiniti, Mercedes, etc. Yet they still had no problem charging the normal $12.00. BMW was there but I didn't see a 1 Series.

I went to the Frankfurt Auto Show. That was fantastic. Got to see the intro of the X1. You could barely walk in front of the Porsche and tuner booths.

Oh bummer...that's too bad. I was expecting something similar to the Chicago Auto Show that I had gone to when I lived there. No groundbreaking unveilings there but there was at least a healthy collection of cars to be seen. Oh well - thanks for the heads-up anyway! I'll see if they'll let me drive my 1er in to represent our beloved cars. :-)

I ended up going this afternoon and I completely agree that the dearth of luxury car makers was very disappointing. As was the fact that there weren't any 1ers and 6ers. I went up to the BMW stand and offered to drive my 1er in to represent the series; they turned down my offer. :-(

The show really did kinda suck. Like stated before there were a lot of cars not there... I really wanted to see the Porsche's But I will say the Z06 and ZR1 are amazing cars, for american!

I went sunday. It was the worst one I've been to. However the BMW Grand Turismo looks much better in person. I would actually consider getting one if I needed a larger car....the thing was very pratical and huge.
