Are the side mirrors genuine 1M or are they a retrofit kit? How hard is the install? Does it need any coding?

They are Genuine BMW M Mirrors, No coding needed. Roughly 15 Minutes per side all of 4 bolts

AA has an option for model year listed on their site. Breaks out 2008 from 2009. I'm assuming you have the 2008 version. Not sure what the difference is if any?
