How often..?

How often do you guys wash your car? Weekly, bi-weekly, or just when it gets to the point where you can't see your car dirty anymore?

What kind of products do you use if you wash you car weekly? Recommend anything?

Normally, once a week. (A thorough wash and quick detail if necessary)
But.... since it's been below freezing around where I live, it's not a good idea to wash it until the temps get above freezing for a day or two. The windows will freeze up and the door will not close properly. It's just common sense to not wash your car in below freezing temps.

I try to keep my car clean, try is the key word. Winter I just do it when the weather permits, and in summer I like to do it once every 2 weeks if I can. I hate washing my car lol

non-winter months, i average about once per week. i try not to touch the car during winter to prevent any additional scratch/swirls. the most i will do for winter is do a powerwash on the exterior to get the salt and grim off. the cars/SUV usually get a late fall detail for protection. most of the grime sprays right off.

i order most of my products from detailersdomain.com.

Have a full detail done four times a year. Use Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer whenever necessary to keep her spotless and shiny between details. Parked in the garage every night. Use a California Duster on her every morning. Always looks great!

When I feel like it's dirty. I do try and vacuum on a weekly basis though.

Usually try and wash after every autocross event due to brake dust buildup.

I use Chemical Guys Maxi-Suds II and sheepskin mitt.

Using Quick Detailer for anything besides touchup immediately after a wash, you're going to damage paint

Been using Meguiars Quick Detailer between details going on five years and the paint looks perfect. Showroom quality. My detailer AND my dealer can't believe, by looking at it, that my car is going on five years old.

A garaged car is a whole lot less work. Unfortunately I don't have that luxury (except in winter - heated, underground storage). I use a Covercraft Evolution fitted cover and since you can't cover a dirty car without scratching the paint and contaminating the cover it means a quick rinse every few days. With a well waxed car only takes a few minutes, hose in one hand, wash mitt in the other, no soap. Quick wipe down and drive it dry.
