I ran across this the other day, it may be an old posting but wow impressive. unbelievable.. The link won't post for some strange reason, just do a goggle search on the topic below.

I am certainly all for increased HP/Torque but what about the drive train etc? Can the stock parts hold those increases? How much HP/Torque increase is safe for a stock 135i? So many questions, so little time.

Yeah, I think our drive train would have no problems with 400 - 500 hp but close to 700 hp that is pushing it for sure. The N54 engines are an amazing engines.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I have no problem spinning my tires just to pass. And coming around a corner is another story.

But knowing you have that extra HP/Torque is a good feeling.
