Another update in the OP with what looks to be the final version of my E25 tune from Wedge. Next up will be pump gas!

Rookie question on your newest logs...I was under the impression that MHD targets load, and that load actual should pretty neatly line up with load required once the turbo catches up and delivers full boost. Your latest logs don't look far off, but they're not totally lined up, either. Is that indicative of anything? Definitely glad to hear the map is seemingly bulletproof though...awesome news.

For context I'm doing a pump tune with Wedge, too, and have a pretty clear boost leak. My load actual is nowhere near boost req. Almost assuredly a vacuum line issue, but I'm waiting until April-ish to get it sorted by my shop so I can also do an oil change and a couple other things.

I honestly don't know the answer to your question regarding load. Hopefully Ken or someone else will chime in.

As for the boost leak, yeah I would take it easy until you get that figured out. If you have changed out anything recently, you could go and double check those items if you have the tools and workspace. Hope you get it figured out soon, you will love the power once the tune is complete!

Gotcha. Definitely curious what his thoughts are on that. My boost leak isn't major...my shop did a smoke test and ruled out intake- and chargepipe-side leaks. One vacuum line was only hitting around 15" when it should have been about twice that, so it's potentially that, a boost solenoid, and/or some other vacuum lines. Only 40k miles on my motor and I haven't beaten it, so I don't think it'd be a turbo or wastegate issue.

Anyway, just glad to hear that DCT cars are getting dialed in, and that Wedge is killing it. Even though I'm only hitting stock boost levels on my initial map from him because of the leak, it is honestly much smoother than stock. I'm so glad I took the plunge on MHD and a custom tune. You likely to dyno at some point? Would love to see the results of Wedge's pump tune and your E-tune...

There are a lot of factors that go into tuning load. You can request 250 load and you'll get a boost target of 25 psi for example. But your WGDC is only good for 20 taper to 11 psi. This doesn't mean you have a boost leak. It doesn't mean you should automatically hit 25 psi.

A lot of things have changed in the past couple of months, so shoot me an email and if I don't have you on the new maps, lets try that first.

Thanks for the explanation. Raining in socal all weekend so testing on pump gas is delayed another week or so 👎🏼
