MHD or wedge custom tune
Just looking for some opinions. I have a 2012 135 completely stock except for bms intake and ppk. I'm trying to decide on a tune. Not trying to push the limits of the car but I want good power. Thanks for your opinions

Wedge uses MHD. They are not mutually exclusive.
You could always go get MHD and then spend (I think it's $60) for the off-the-shelf map and see if you like it. In your case I think you would probably be fine with a $60 OTS map. If you had more modifications and wanted to push the envelope more then a custom tune (with wedge for example) would make more sense. Last edited by WhatsADSM; 02-18-2017 at 03:36 PM.. |

Have you confirmed your car is flashable? If so, I would just go straight with a wedge tune. Just contact him and let him know what you are looking for and he will build the tune.

I have a DCT. I don't want to run meth, upgrade injectors or fuel pump either. I had a big power car before I picked up the 135 and I'm not interested in going down that road again. Just want a nice bump in power with my stock components.

I have a dct car as well, and my car rips like never before, and I have tried a lot of maps and setups. You can see results on e25 in my thread. I will be testing a pump tune from wedge as well once the weather clears in socal. But you can see what to expect looking at my logs. Since you are keeping stock intercooler and downpipe, you will hold a little more boost than me as well. If I can give you my 2 cents, you should really consider an intercooler upgrade because your iats are going to shoot up. There are a few options that utilize the factory quick disconnects. Makes for a reliable, easy, leak free install. Probably be installed in A couple of hours start to finish. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1146223 |

Let Wedge know your mods/fuel and goals. He will custom tune a map for you
