Just had the local dealer install a PPK 1 on an October 2012 build date 135i. Stock exhaust, stock air intake. It is noticeably quicker than stock, the exhaust is 'unleashed', but - and this is important to me - it does not drone at a constant RPM (around 2800 RPM, ~ 80 mph).
Is it worth it - to me yes, but I wanted just a bit more boy racer around town and still refined highway manners. If I were younger (not necessarily more stupid - don't know how that could be) I'd opt for a more aggressive tune. |

Personally, being that Dinan is having this crazy sale on the S2 tune, I would skip the PPK and go directly to the S2. This is coming from someone who not only did the PPK but did the stage 2 with all the cooling upgrades and now have the S2 tune installed.
