Nope. The diesels get a different scale.

The picture attached shows a E90 330d.

How could the red line 'move' anyway? Isn't it just painted onto the dial?

Yes: Get yourself a screwdriver set, two soldering irons and lots of blue SMD-LEDs.

So far all conversions have been DIY. You may throw some money at one of the fellows that has done it though and ask him to convert your car for you. So far noone has produced a simple kit.

I think it is fixed, but it gives the impression it's moveable because the tacho has that similar 'channel' around the edge that the speedo has, and the speedo has the moving red edge marker for the cruise control speed setting.

It just makes sense for it to be moveable as there is no temp gauge.

The M5 does this as well.

I think the cluster that has the blue lights is an E60 cluster.

That video is either from an E60 (5 Series) or a 6series.

The E90 has slimmer chrome rings around the gauges and some other details are different..

I wish people would take time to read through threads. The whole point of this thread was whether or not the redline moves on the E90 However, we now have proof that it does move on other BMW's Which, I'm sure everyone would agree WE DON'T care.

I did like the earlier reply of how 7 outta 77 BMW owner's are liars, I would like to modify that.

9 outta 94 BMW owners are just too dumb to read!!!!

So for the record ARE THERE ANY E90 Owners that have redlines that move!!!!!

Ya the point is whether or not the E90 redlines move, I'm pretty sure everyone understands it moves on the 5 or 7!!! I still don't think you understand what we're talking about!!

When I first got my car it only had 2 little tick marks above the 7. Now it has 4. Now looking at ChiTown's pic of his E90 cluster. He has 5 or 6 tick marks above 7.

I guess that it's moving. I just don't know why.

I have to pick up wifey from work in a few. I'll take a pic and post it on here.

When I first got the car I thought it would move as well because it does on my ///M3 but I haven't seen it move on the E90.

Like I said, I haven't actually seen it move. I just noticed some more tick marks on there.
