I'm really liking the blue color- the red is nice the dark grey is nice, but the blue is great for me. 18" 5-spoke wheels, M-sport, xenons, black leather. I'm ready for it. |

Okay after thinking about this for 2 minutes. I'm not about to spend 2,000 on a Navigation System w/ Idrive. That would push a 135i near 40k knowing BMW. I'll stick with my 1er coupe with a nice leather combo. More is less. AND BLUE IS THE NEW BLACK!!

No, actually I would like to see the Black/Lemon/Black combo you chose.
But I want to see as many highlights as possible on the car. And, my current ride is black. Basically it looks great immed. after washing. + I think black on a small car makes it look even smaller. Maybe it'll look great on the coupe- but that's where the chrome strip will make a diff. I'm still hoping for pics on Tuesday. Long ago Scott published a list of colors available for the 1-er coupe. He mentioned that some of the selections will be exclusive to the coupe and some to the cab. What I'd really like to see is a different pallette from what we're used to...historical...solids rather than metallics and pearls. |

Great pics again Advevo. Thanks.
This car is going to look so good. Much better than the E92 in my opinion, much more 'BMW'. Advevo are you the marketing guy at BMW in charge of throwing pics on US forums to excite enthusiasts? |

I've been reading this blog for quite a while now and thought I would jump in.
BTW...you guys have done an absolutely fantastic job getting pix and info out there. This car is what I have been waiting for! I was stationed in Germany with the Army from 1997-2003 and put 75K on a 1986 E30 sedan...lowered with the 2.5L powerplant...absolutely fell in love with BMW during that span. I bought an E46 M3 during my last 18 months there and it was simply heroic. I did feel that the car was a tad too big and yearned for something smaller...looks like BMW listened to those of us who have been pining for an E30 sized, back-to-basics ride! I find it hard to believe that Munich would offer both a 135i and an M version of this car, but I will hold my breath for a year to see if we get the Motorsport 1. I am also anxious to see what the Cabrio version of this car look like...I thought the concept looked smashing...though the common thread is that a convertible is not a true driver's car, an M1 soft top would be a hoot on America's back roads. Thanks again for the great site...keep those pictures coming Adveevo! |

July is when official communication on the 1-series will begin. I don't know where people got July FIRST, in particular, but it will be July for certain.

Oh my God!
This is to me the BMW for ages and I mean I am a real fan!!!! Especially in this dark grey (guess it's sparkling graphite) with the 18'' rims the Coupé looks so f...ing hot. I'd die for one! Black sapphire with M-Sportpaket and BIIIIG wheels ;-) 2 BMW: Guys you did a great job!!!! |
