Sounds like the Cobb did something.

It would be nice if they chimed in as I'm fearful to put the tune back on and it happens again. I have a 500 mile drive back home Saturday.
That's strange...I would call Cobb.

I'm going to PBIR this Wednesday to see how my car runs again with the Cobb. I hope I can trap over 117mph this time around.

Let me know if you can make it.

Damn hopefully I can make it! I have a boost leak somewhere (P30FF) so doing a boost leak check and pressure test the functionality of the by pass valves too. Spent all Friday and made sure the leak wasn't the FMIC. I'm going to the shop around 12pm Wednesday so hopefully theres an open lift right when I get there and things get done quick.

I'll keep you updated and an maybe well ride together.

If you use the AP manager you can save all the files in your COBB to your computer.

I can't remember the exact name but it should say something along the lines of stock map.

One of the icon on the top right is the one for saving to the PC.

Thank you again so much.

BTW COBB flash is something amazing IJEOS 401 works perfect smoother than STOCK what surprises me
Now I need to find best way to buy intercooler who can send to Europe. What pisses me of is additional taxes

401 is definitely a lot better!

Is ok I know your pain - getting things shipped to Australia is also a pain and we get tax as well if its over $1000 AUD.

Anyone else compare:

3.01 Stage 1 Sport ST
to
4.01 Stage 1 + FMIC Sport ST?

Stage 1 + FMIC should be much stronger than plain Stage 1?!? I don't notice a power difference.

Ok it's a few days like I'm running SPORT 401 LT on IJEOS.
And one thing that I don't like that I think there is less power in the mid range RPM even comparing with stock. It feels like car with BIG TURBO is it normal?
Anyone feel same?

Check the logs. My engine had timing issues with the Stage 2+FMIC Sport (also IJEOS). I went back to an older, custom map.

Btw. the 401 maps are very smooth though. So the perceived lack of power could also be the smooth power ramp on these maps.

I've had the Cobb AP for about 8 days now and all was well until yesterday.

Hard acceleration in 3rd gear at like 4k RPM and the car stutters hard and goes limp on me and says "Service Engine Soon." I throw it into auto-drive and just cruise slow and after a minute the light goes away and the car starts driving smooth again.

Today driving home from work, same deal: "Service Engine Soon" and I get the AP and plug it in, two codes thrown.

Never had a single problem with the Cobb AP that I had on my 2008 STI, was hoping the same would be true for my 2008 135i (AT)...

Rocking the "Stg1 Aggressive I8A0S v301.ptm" map w/ 93 octane, about half a tank of gas left.

Good luck! Hopefully it's just spark plugs.

I know what you are talking about and it the linear throttle mapping. Try the stock mapping and you will feel the mid range. I am running 401 stock aggressive and it's smooth as butter.

I went by on Wednesday and did 12.4@117mph again on my first pass, but did a bit worse on my 2nd pass due to heatsoak just by waiting to stage. I don't think I'll do better than the 12.3@117mph like before, but at least its consistent.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it this Sunday to spectate, but let me know how you do there.

No one's noticed that 4.01 +FMIC doesn't feel any faster than 3.01 ?
