The 1M will be rarer than an RS4, due to the limited production. As you are not in the states, an RS4 Avant is not impossible to attain for you.
The acceleration times will be fairly similar in both. However, in real world driving, the 1M will be faster due to it's good torque and lower weight. The 1M is as fast if not faster than an M3 in real world driving, and we know the M3 has the edge on the RS4. This of course is in the dry, with a talented driver.  I would say go for it, and don't get me wrong I love the RS4.However, as unbelievable a car the RS4 is, the 1M will be more fun and something really unique.
