Racewars Dyno

Hey Guys,

Any of you here went to the Racewars Dyno? Care to share your list of mods and results? I wanted to go but couldn't due to work

This is what I am running currently engine wise:
Cobb Tuning Accessport Stage 2+ Aggressive, Burger Motorsports Oil Catch Can, Evolutions Racewerks Competition Series Front Mount Intercooler, aFe Stage 2 N54 DCI, Evolution Racewerks 09+ Charge Pipe, GFB Stealth FX blow off valve, AR Design N54 3″ Hi-Flo catless downpipes, Berk midpipes, Custom muffler delete.

Kuek has VRSF catless downpipes, VRSF 5" FMIC, AFE sealed intake, and PTF tune via Cobb.

I got 349.5hp, Kuek got 319.9hp. He is N54 steptronic. I am N54 6MT. I am running semi slicks so the numbers are a little down. But on the day Simon got 551hp where as at ASG (hub dyno) he reads 710hp. Royce was the same at ASG (hub dyno) he reads 682hp on the day on the rollers he got 565hp.

Should be interesting on the 1000m runs at Racewars come April. My car will be on a full E85 custom tune by then.

Yeah Sean tunes my other car. He will also be tuning the 135i for E85 as well. I am getting a Walbro E85 pump retrofitted into the stock LPFP carrier. I didn't like the band aid solution of a booster pump.

So he tunes your 135 with the cob, so almost like the pft guys ? I used to have I'm tune my sti all the time but not sure he can tune the 135

it's such a confusing topic - most things i've read say the booster is MORE reliable than the full replacement?

people still wanting a full hat replacement.

I spoke to him. ASG only has the Access Tuner Pro for R35's. So I bought a spare laptop and installed Access Tuner Racer for my 135i on it. Sean will use that to tune it on the dyno.

Was meant to reply but was travelling. Essentially what Sam said. My car is down on power atm, wanted to dyno the OTS map as a comparison but didn't get it organised. PTF are relooking at the etune i have.

RE Sean at ASG's tuning. Got my last car tuned there, Vortech supercharged V35 running the VQ35. Sean tuned the piggy back on it even though he hadn't done one before with the supplied software I gave him. No complaints.
