I think he's implying that that's what his dealership would have charged him had he ordered them with the car. I could be wrong though.

Yes, purchased discounted(i like to think) and had to install them myself....these parts should have come along with the vehicle.

It doesn't come standard with every BMW? I'm pretty sure it does. Mine did and while I didn't do ED, I did take delivery in Germany (military discount program).

Unfortunately, the only US spec cars that get the warning triangle (and first aid kit) are ED cars, and military delivery cars, delivered overseas.

I have mine in my car in the States, along with the German required orange reflective vest, because it's a great idea to have them required, IMO.

I wonder if those items were liquidated by AndyM, one of our more upstanding members. I know that he sells all of those pieces from his leatherZ.com website.
