iCarbon wires that secure mesh...POS or durable?
I received an iCarbon VACC diffuser that I was planning to paint and install. I was very disappointed in the way the metal mesh is secured. There are pieces of solid wire glued to the diffuser that are just bent over to hold the mesh in place. Also the mesh is just cut oversize to cover the openings, so it looks fairly primative. Anybody have experience in the mesh on iCarbon loosening over time? Also do other diffusers (like BMW performance) have such a primative way of fastening the mesh? I guess I got what I paid for.

Atleast your tabs aren't plastered on as well. The wires hold on to the mesh just fine from what I've seen.

On a side note, someone needs to make a proper functional rear diffuser. Slek stepped up with some really great stuff for the 1M and e82., wish they would make a more aggressive diffuser. |
