New Englanders: List your mods!

I figured that we could all benefit from each other's experience with various mods, so why not have a centralized location to log them and ask questions about them. Me:

Shadowline inner grills (Frames are still stock chrome)
I didn't care for the look of all chrome or all shadowline on JB, so I purchased the above combination from a forum member. I think it looks great! Very similar to how the 128i stock grill looks.

Bimmian 4in Micro Antenna
Looks a TON better, and no loss of reception that I can discern. Although I believe it's strictly for analog signals, and I have satellite radio and HD radio so it probably gets used infrequently.

Debadged
This has been discussed ad nauseum in other threads.

MTec Angel Eye bulbs on order
I wanted to go with something a bit less yellow but still not "blingy". I installed them last night, and didn't have nearly the nightmare of an install that others have. I posted up in the DIY section in a thread but PM me if you want details of the install. The bulbs are quite bright when used as DRLs and have a nice "super white" look to them.

Golf Tee Mod:

I did this too and it's really easy. I pulled the vacuum line, plugged it with a golf tee, and zip tied it up to a bracket near the muffler. I definitely notice a slightly deeper rumble and it even pops and burbles a bit between shifts when it's cold. Definitely worth it!

To follow:

Removal of CDV

1. Debadged (I have black/black, I really would get rid of anything shiney, plus I'm not a free advertisement. It's a car, not a sales tool.)
2. BMW Performance Front Strut Brace

Probably going to get all black 18" rims as well to complete the black look. But everyone I talk to says it will look horrible with black rims...

I love the clean look, and also like to have non enthusiasts question what model it is. Kinda makes it look special IMHO. Both of my cars are "naked":

How do you guys like the intakes? Would you recommend them on an otherwise stock motor?

I had JB3, Helene drop in air filter, RR catless DPs, CP-e catless mid-pipes, BMW performance exhaust, BMW short shifter, shadowline grills, and GP Thunders. The exhaust setup didn't work out so well... too loud and too smelly. First I moved back to stock midpipes, which still left quite a bit of drone from the catless downpipes. Then went back to the stock DPs. Then decided to sell the car and put it back completely stock, except for the shifter, grills and GPs.

I was thinking about to do that too. I guess I will do that since I like to hear nice sound. How much was the mid-pipes?

I don't remember. Check CP-e's website. They had the mid-pipes priced separately. However, rather than just doing the mid-pipes, my suggestion would be to do the complete catback exhaust. By mixing up the exhaust parts, the sound was not very "nice," rather a high pitched scream above 2500 rpm and a lot of drone.
