seriously, where can i buy these? lol, probably nowhere but thats got to be a good amount of weight lost between the two seats.

We've actually discussed the seats in some detail here (haha, think we're obsessive?). Apparently there is an integrated side airbag in them (at least there appears to be one -- no idea if the show car actually had one).
Some of us think that the integration of a side airbag is pretty advanced for a one-off show car seat, and that it could be some indication that those seats are actually headed into production. Then again, the fact that those seats have a side airbag means you won't see huge weight savings versus the stock non-power seats... |

There is no forward flip mechanism on them, making access to the back seat limited to contortionists. Personally, I like having female contortionists in the back seat, but it kind of takes any practicality away from it being a four seater.
Recaro makes forward flipping seats, but they weigh a bit more, due to the extra complexity in the mounts. |
