New to 1er family, 2009 128i CPO

Good day 1er's,
Just wanted shout out to the forum and thank you for helping me decide to purchase a 1 series for my next ride. Have a lot to learn and looking forward to the future with my 1 and the 1Addits!

One thing I found surprising is that with 12k miles they still put 4 new Pirelli zero run flat tires on.

Welcome! Please let us know how the car rides with the Pzero RFTs, most of our cars came with dunlops or bridgestones and good gracious they sucked. I'd imagine 17s would help sort out the ride as well.

135 Pats:

Our 128 has the Pirelli PZero RFT tires on 18inch 261s (for about 9 months now). Vastly better than the Bridgestone RE050 in ride quality and equal in performance, better wet surface handling, etc. I like them as well as the Michelin PS2 ZPs on my 335.

Very nice! I bought my 09 CPO with 17K... 30K now.

They probably put the RFTs on because it came in with non RFT tires, and the CPO std requires RFTs. There may have been no convenience kit either...

So what do you think of it? Mine's Montego with the Savannah Beige - no other car like it in town.

I like the 128 because I can keep the RPMs down around 2-3K and get good mileage and decent pull on my DD, or I can drive it the way a NA is supposed to be driven, keeping the RPMs up around 4-5K and hitting the twisties.
