I am assuming that HRE's DPE's and such are made to order. They can be produced to your liking.

There is a thread about the HRE's offsets here -

The answer from HRE about the P-40s is "no". You have to get a multi-piece wheel like the C20s. See here -

HRE's are 100% to order so when we produce them for you, the offsets are customized for your application to sit flush and not rub. We can also customize the offset so they clear larger aftermarket brakes.

Perhaps Nick would like to comment on this email from HRE. Have they changed their position on this?

Hello Paul,

The Monoblok will not work on the 1 series. Unfortunately we cannot get to an offset that will stay within the fender of the car with the Monobloks. Here are a couple of pictures of cars that we have recently built. They are both aggressive setups. Give me a rind and we can discuss exactly what you are looking for.

Best Regards,

ptack is right.

We actually tried hard to come up with offsets that will work for the 1series with the monoblocks, but the current forging sizes that they have seems to be the limitation.

custom 3 pc wheels like the competition series would be the route to go if you'd like HRE's.

Thanks for clearing that up Julius. I knew you could do the 3-Piece on these cars but was not aware the Monoblocks were so tough to fit. That's too bad, they are amazing wheels.

I bet with rolling the fender and/or stretched tires you could get them to fit

Maybe - they fit beautifully on M3s so if you feel ambitious and have about $4-5k to risk, give it a shot.
