I've stepped up to the Big Time!

Check it out......just spent a pretty penny with Phil. I had to try out the Flex though and first returns are AMAZING compared to my old buffer:

Flex FTW...

The Flex is a must have for the detailers who do not want to use a rotary (I personally will probably never use a rotary because of the great results I get from my Flex).

Let me know how you like using the green pads, those are on my shopping list.

Will do. They are much more coarse than the blue ones I used when buffing with the 85rd so they seem to correct much more efficiently. I also have Uber White pads which seem to be in between the green and blue in terms of coarseness.

John, what are you using to remove the polish/Zaino? I bought some of the Uber Blue MF towels seen in the pic, I hope I have good results with those. The MFs I was using before seemed to swirl even when simply removing Z and Menz, very frustrating. It's like you're always chasing down swirl marks.

I like these microfibers. I also use the bulk micfrofiber (yellow) purchased from Costco. I use these during polish days for polish removal, I then use them to apply my zaino, then I toss them. There not very thick so I would not use them for a spray detail towel.

I use the chubby towels all the time- Zaino removal and spray detailing.

I always wash my microfibers before there first use.

Blackjack-

What Menz polish/pad combo are you using besides the 85rd/blue pad now to attack swirls?

I'm using Menz SIP on a green pad(or white, which seems a bit milder) and finishing with Menz 85rd on a blue pad which is very soft and mild.

Hopefully I'll get better results with Zaino seal when the weather heats up...it's very difficult to work with in the cold weather, a point they readily admit to.
