After the wash...destilled water?

Hi guise,

i got a problem with my water quality (hard water).
when im washing my car in the summer (in the shade) i always catch water spots on the paint (im not 2 slow).

i wanted to use rain water, pour it over the car after the wash.
unfortunatly i dont have a rain drain at my company,
takes ages to collect the water...

soooo....can i use distilled water?
anyone tried that?
will it affect the rubber/plastic?

i know you guys in the us got stuff like spotless water filters,
i dont get that here and shipping is like 400 bucks. (damn!)

You can use distilled, it won't do any harm. Rain water on the other hand could be full of contaminants that could do harm.
