I'm liking it more and more. I just wish they would just reveal the damn thing. Why the tease for so long? We know it exists, Paris motorshow is going on, why isnt it there?!

those fenders are aggressive. after seeing these pics, i have high hopes for this car. i'm seriously considering getting one now.

It is "Place Charles de Gaulle" (aka "l'Etoile"), at Paris, where we can see the "Arc de triomphe". May be the only roundabout in Paris where cars coming from your right have the priority, always a mess that I kind of enjoyed when I was young.
That said, it is the most boring presentation of a car, ever. Do they already have to put chicks on the pics to make us look at... what car or girls? Don't they have real information to share about this car? And what are the next steps then? Let me guess... 1M guest star of a porn movie? Come on BMW, be serious... Anyway, too late for me, got bored.

what i don't understand is why they bothered to show us the headlight at all if they are just going to keep it covered. it was a pointless strip.
I assume this means when they show us some rear taillight, there's going to be some black tape on it too so that they don't reveal too much, thus making the gradual stripping a joke. and why are people suprised there isn't carbon on the rear splitter? you know it's going to be an option for the company to make more money off of us. |

The only other element I have any interest in is the vent behind the front wheels which is *almost* showing in the pics.

To do so would take away some attention that the regular 1er is getting refreshed and in some cases would take precedent over the 1M. Now that the LCi is very much undergoing public testing on the streets of Munich , expect to see the photographs of the LCi models on Bimmerpost quite soon. Hence why we have now brought attention to the fact that the car is about to be refreshed. The 1M is now on it's to the UK. Some news on that shortly. |

Its been a while since I've seen any version of the 1 series dominate the main Bimmerpost's featured articles page. Good stuff!
But the slow strip tease is painful. At this point they have all of them spoken for, I'm sure. So who cares? My guess? I predict this car will be at the Detroit Auto Show, completely naked. As for the chick, we can only hope she'll join the 1M at the Detroit Auto Show in the same 'outfit', lol. |
