Weekends are usually better for me, but with advance notice evening may be possible during the week.

Nice pics!! Congrats!! Sorry to miss u, fshow....if the windows were closed, the noise isolation is good, but if the day was nice, I'm blasting my music or revving the crap out the car to hear that sweet engine!!

....speaking of which, I need to find a way to keep the mileage down on my ride. I have the option of borrowing my mom's minivan when she's watching my daughter if she doesn't need it for the day (at least 60% of the time). But every time I think to do that, I think of how well my iphone integrates into the car for listening to music or taking calls in foul weather, and in nice weather....need I say more? I think I got too nice a car!!

Cars are meant to be driven. Just keep up with the maintenance, and don't worry about the mileage. :roundel:

(Unless you're leasing, of course. But that's one reason why I don't lease...)

weeknights are best for me because during the weekend my dad is home and that's who is buying the car for me so he wants to take it out for spins, but during the week its all mine, probably the best day would be August 18th or 21st, if we need to pick one day how bout August 18th that way my friend with the GTI can come and see how much better BMW owners are lol?

have any of you put in the M// door sills on your 1er yet? I think it adds a perfect touch to the already subtle M roundels on the car

its' all good... leave the car home during the snow! it's a summer car for sure. I already racked up 3300 miles! lol... i took it to jersey... im' not scared to drive cars

That's actually what kills me...I've been to Indianapolis with my ride and am planning a trip to Chi-town in Sept....racks up the miles quick!!

Can let you know Monday from work when I get my final schedule....don't anticipate any problems with the 18th. I'm cool with meeting anywhere, but it seems like Shadyside is close for most, if not there, I'm for moving anywhere north, as I live in the North Hills (not being selfish or anything....)

ya im up for anywhere, it will be the first real day for me to drive it around so i want to break her in haha, would you just bring yourself or a friend? only wondering because i talked to my friend and he would like to come to check out everyones ride....do you know anyone else with a 1er?

i was checking a few other threads, and i think i might have found a few more guys that would like to come, it would be really nice to get like 8 of us, take a nice big group photo, i would stick it right on the background of my computer haha

I just got my schedule, and the 18th works for me!! Someone who knows the area better than I can pick a place in Shadyside or close by....let's try for a good photoshoot spot. Is this gonna be PG, aka my 4 yr old daughter wants to tag along in Daddy's "new car". (still ask to take my new car places....gotta teach em young, right?)

Fshow....say it ain't so, brother!! I needed to finally see you after you've seen me at least a couple times. I need to get a glimpse of the one in Montego.

Tentatively I can make it, but on weeknights I can't always be sure. Lately, there's always one last thing that comes up at the last minute at work that'll force me to stay 'till 8:00 (which is what happened last night). But if I can, I will be there.

ya it should definitely be PG, anyone feel free to bring whomever, my friend is coming even though he has a GTI just because he loves to see other cars, I am not too familiar with the area there, what if we met at a starbucks and then drove to a nice photoshoot scene? haha sorry I am in love with starbucks. So what would be best for everyone i general, I have the whole day off from work, so...afternoon, night? I'm leaning more towards after 4 or so, because I have to run up to school real quick in the morning to move some stuff in. So far its 4 cars, with another possible with jkp1187, 3 of those 135s, im waiting on a few other ppl i messaged to see if they can come.

Starbucks at the plaza with the Borders and Whole Foods? That's actually not a bad place to meet.....

In front of borders works for me...there should be plenty of room in that parking lot.....say 7 or 7:30? Gonna try and convince my brother to bring his Speed3 to add to the photoshoot.

BTW, saw a CR 135 vert on my way to work. We were facing Mellon Arena and the vert was coming up the far left exit to go on the Vet's Bridge, while I was going up Bigelow on my way in to work around 11am.....come out, come out, wherever you are....
