Getting new tires today and my car needs a alignment, does it matter where the alignment is done, any tips on what to watch out for

If you are doing any sort of track/auto cross try and get as much front camber as you can.

What would recommend for daily driving, with a lot of spirited driving lol

Tell the technicians to get the toe as close to 0 as possible. Most shops will put you within a recommended range.
