No one else in the Southeast, or are we all lurkers?
Ok, so not too much commitment shown on the Southeast forum here, people. Are we excited , frustrated , or just mellow ?
Or bored, like me?? |

I have had very good experiences with Critz BMW in Savannah, which is about 45 minutes or so away for me. This will be the 4th bimmer I have purchased or leased from them, and find them very fair and honest. I have dealt with Richard Osborne in the past, who is now their sales manager, so my SA is Jim Kowalchuk (I think that is spelled right!). If it is not too great a hike for you, I certainly can recommend them based upon past experience. I have been out of the "BMW fold" for a few years, but am very excited to be getting back to owning one as exciting as the 1 Series.
More than you wanted to know, but there you go. Bill:roundel: |

^ thanks for the information Bill!
I am in the Pawleys Island area so that would be a bit of a hike for me. IF they have a decent allocation and would be willing to set-up an ED and PCD then maybe I will shoot down there one weekend. Savannah's a nice weekend anyway! What do you know about the Chaz dealer Rick Hendrick Imports if anything?

I'm going ED this summer. Birmingham dealer says they will only get 16 cars all year. half will be 128's. That is only 8 135i's for the largest city in Alabama. I hope I get the only WhiteOne.....

Anyway, my build date just got moved up from Week 9 to Week 4, so I could conceivably have my 135 by the end of next month! |

I'll be around from time to time
I ordered my 135i today from BMWoSA:
Alpine White Coral Red Boston Leather\High Gloss Blk Trim Cold Weather Pkg Sport Pkg Nav/iPod/Sat Will be taking Performance Center del in March. I've had 03 MCS,04 MCS,05 MCS,05 MCS C,06 MCS JCW,07 MCS, 07 335i Coupe, 07 X5 and now the 135i. Still have the Cabrio and X5. This car will mostly see weekends and some track time and will not be an everyday driver. I'll be interested in getting this baby as trackworthy as possible. Way Motor Works, Atlanta, will be doing all the work. Look forward to maybe trying to get a group together some time if there is any interest. Call |

Assume you are following the other threads, too, but I have noticed people with production numbers all around mine already going to production, and getting VIN's, but I am still a tentative Week 4. Most of them are in the NE or midwest, so I am wondering if it has something to do with shipping- I know mine is supposed to be shipped to the Port of Charleston .. . . Bill |

Production Date
Morning guys. I ordered with Dan Warren at Rick Hendrick Imports. I have been in car-rehab rebuilding two alfas for the past ten years. My wife said the '03 IS-300 that I bought to keep me on the road, is ready for replacing. I like the way this girl thinks. Our last BMW was a '69 2002 brought back to the US courtesy of Uncle Sam from Europe. Wish I had kept it longer. For a geezer, I am still in their playing under cars and driving too fast.....God I love this country. I can't wait to pick up this new toy. I see a big smile on my face coming real soon.
