Anyone install a **********s diffuser?

Anyone have any tips installing mod bargains rear diffusers? They have metal tabs and they seem a bit long.... Should I cut these or something?

Alot of the cheaper diffuser replica's require some type of cutting / sanding of the tabs to get them to fit perfectly.

If you are referring to their OEM style carbon fiber diffuser, I don't see where you get the idea that it has incredible fitment. I got one late October last year. Fitment sucks BIG TIME. Length-wise it is a little over 1 inch short. The curvature of the diffuser is flatter than the curvature of the bumper's cutout. The tabs do not line up with the tab holes. I tried my best to bend and force it to fit. No chance. Their ad guarantees fitment...BS! I called and was advised to get a professional to do it. They did not even test fit their product. I am very, very disappointed. BUYER BEWARE!!

Note to self when installing aftermarket replica CF diffuser, remove rear bumper for flush clean neat install. That way you will have FULL access and enough space to tug the diffuser around to fix misalignment. Not saying they will all fit somehow, just speaking from experience.

Yes that is what is recommended. I am hoping not to have to do that.

To respond to this I have had no such issue. Their diffuser lined up nicely and I did have to fine tune the tab alignment in a few but nothing extreme.

Update... I will remove the bumper and take photos I should be able to wrap tabs around to secure tightly which will make for a better installation. Also this is a $500 diffuser so it's not cheap it's just not insane like iCarbon

The mod bargains diffuser is the biggest POS. It doesn't fit, plain and simple. Mine has been sitting in my garage since december. I tried to return it and they wouldn't even take it back.
