What lens, camera and settings (ISO, SHUTTER SPEED, ETC)?

Cool I have a T2i as well...the first shot above in post #619 was shot with a T2i (BBS_LM) and a lens that cost less than the $800 (I would take the lens back and get the comparable Sigma or Tamron)

Most of the time its not the lens though

Ya I need to have IS in the lens and I think Sigma is the only one that has IS on the 17-70. I may get one of those. Honestly I have done some tests on a tripod using the same settings with both my kit 18-55 and the 15-85 and the 15-85 does do better in some areas but not enough to make it worth it I think. I have the pics on my flickr.
