Introducing the OZ Alleggerita HLT!
We have some details now of a very exciting new product from OZ. As you all know the OZ Racing Ultraleggera has been a great wheel, lightweight, great looks and lots of fitments.
Going forward for 2009 the Ultraleggera will still be a great product and a important part of the OZ program. (read, not being discontinued) But to compliment the Ultraleggera OZ is giving us a new wheel. The new wheel is the Alleggerita HLT (Italian for lightened) using OZ’s HLT technology this new wheel is lighter without sacrificing strength. On average expect a 10% savings in weight over the Ultraleggera. Wheel details……………. 17” and 18” diameter. Standard color has shown (Titanium Tech finish) Optional colors, Matte Graphite, Matte Black, Orange, Blue, White (special order 60 day delivery, extra cost) 4-lug and 5-lug up to 5-120 17x7, 17x7.5, 17x8, 17x8.5, 17x9 18x7, 18x7.5, 18x8, 18x8.5, 18x9 Wheel weight, 17x7 is confirmed at 13.8lbs ! we will get weights on other sizes as they are available. The stock finish sample is expected by the 25th of August. Once we have that wheel and part numbers done they will be shown online. Availability, 17” will be first with part numbers in the system by the 1st week in Sept. Product in stock by end of November. 18” will follow 30 days after. Pricing, it will be more expensive than Ultraleggera, but the price has not been finalized. In general I would expect these to be 15%-20% more expensive than the current Ultraleggera prices. In any case much less than 1pc forged or SSR Type-C/F. I have no other details right now. This is everything I know about this new addition. I will fill in the information blanks as it becomes available.

Sounds awesome, Gill! Since the 1er is so affected by a challenging offset, do you have the preliminary offsets for the varying sized wheels?
Thanks in advance! ~14lbs is insane.... |

Wow! These are incredible. As long as these aren't too expensive I'm all over it. My other alternatives are LTW5's or TR Motorsports TR1's both 17".
