Your pics inspired me to get out there and wash/wax my car. Now I like my Jet Black again!
Seems like the relatively flat surface of the 1-series hood and trunk make way for lots of water spots... unless you keep on top of it. The sides of the car always look good. |

Damn that looks good! Great pics - I love it. Almost makes me want a black car... almost...
My W8 was black, and I swore I will never have a black car again. The paint on that VW was crap - after 2 winters I had LOTS of small chips in the paint all over the front end f/ winter/freeway driving. Ill never own a VW again. My 135i is Space Grey - it doesn't look too dirty from a distance when it isn't clean, but doesn't look as good as black when it is clean. Very happy w/ the color of my car.
